Magic Box (software version 3.3B), works with your embroidery machine to allow you to use design cards produced for other machines while using a PC. Magic Cards are compatible with Babylock, Berrnette Deco, Bernina Arista, Brother, Elna, Jerome/New Home, Kenmore, Pfaff, Simplicity, Singer & Viking. I have a simplicity smart box this is a embroidery design system I don't have the cd and I can't find the drivers on line This thread is locked. Embroidery software is the heart and soul of complex, sophisticated embroidery machines. It is the nerve center of the whole operation. Embroidery software sends signals to the hardware and directs the actions of the machine. Without the proper software, an embroidery machine is virtually useless.

HELP!!!
After buying 2 new machines I need digitizing software much cheaper than The Palette. I came across an ad for Simplicity Effortless Embroidery Digitizing Software. Has anyone tried it? I want to do basic designs on girl's and doll's clothing. I would like to draw my own designs. It seems they also make a transfer system called the Smart Box. I will also need an affordable transfer system. All advice and help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Trudy - try this site for one of the most affordable, comprehensive embroidery software you'll ever find. http://www.embird.biz/ I use the standard Embird, along with my Magic Box , but Embird also has a digitizing program. There are Yahoo Groups dedicated to this system, and I haven't heard of anyone yet regretting their purchase. You can also download a free trial to see if you like it.
