Plex is a DNLA media streaming server with matching media client that streams personal media (.avi, .mp4, .mkv, .mp3, .mov, etc.) such as films, tv shows, images, music and other audio files to devices over a network.

Instructions provided for PMS manual install: for the Plex Media Server to work (the Universal app) the instructions given were to extract and move the application from within the Plex 0.8.5 program itself (right click the 'Plex' icon and select 'Show Package Contents'; the application is located under the 'Plex' folder within the 'Resources' folder). Once located, it should be moved to the following directory on your boot drive: ~/Library/Application Support/Plex/PlexMediaServer

Download 3: Last Plex Media Server to run on 32-bit Macs (version 0.9.8.6) up to Lion (10.7.x)

Download 4: Some Plex users reported trouble running PMS 0.9.8.6, so a verified working 32-bit PMS (version 0.9.8.5) was also uploaded
